Faust’s Cake

I was so excited to have my mum over this Christmas and this paved a way to learning more recipes from her.

Though I learnt how to make banana cake and posted this recipe previously, I was curious about how she makes her usual cakes as a professional caterer. Hence, I got her to teach me on one of the cold days during  Christmas. It wasn’t as hard as I expected so once she left, I decided to try it by myself. This is my recipe to a simple cake! I named it Faust’s Cake after my mama, Faustina.

  1. Wow , Thanks for teaching me how to make cake. I will try to make one myself. The whole thing looks neat and appealing. Professional work done. I am lost to what skewer is.

    1. a long piece of wood or metal used for holding pieces of food, typically meat, together during cooking. I placed it inside the cake to check if its ready or not. If its not ready it will be all sticky around it.
Hope that is good now please… Much love 😘 😘 😘
