AMAZING PLACES TO HANGOUT IN ACCRA

November 3, 2018 LK 3 min read

Hey Lizakuks Family,

Hope everyone is doing so well. I had the opportunity to spend part of my summer in Ghana. I had so much to do in relation to my charity organisation, but I took some time off in between my busy schedules to visit these places. Hence, I would love to share my favourite places to hangout in Accra.

PINOCCHIO

It is one of the best ice cream joints in Ghana, located inside East Legon close to the AnC shopping mall. They have different ice cream flavours, but I got to try the mixed berries and mango. It was very tasty. They do have waffles, smoothies and different kinds of teas. Trust me, you wouldn’t regret visiting Pinocchio.

KIKIBEE'S

This pub is located inside East Legon behind Uni Bank. It is a lovely pub with a serene environment, good music, tasty drinks and delicious meals. I got to try their virgin mojito and I must say that I was very impressed. Their kebabs were very much on point, and I loved their services. This place can be hired for bachelorettes, parties and other events.

STARBITES

I popped by this place after a long day of running around. Starbites is located at East Legon, opposite the American International School. Their services were so amazing; the waitress I had was super chatty and friendly. Their meal was one that I enjoyed. It was quite a lot that I had to pack some home. It’s a very airy environment and a cool place to watch football matches.

CASA BELLINI

I stopped by this place with a friend after a prayer meeting. It is located at Madina close to UPS, right in front of Asanka local. The owner was there and trust me when I say that he was very friendly, and his staff also flow in the same vein. I loved their meal; I had beef rice and it was very delicious. The plate was super full and once again, we had to pack the rest. They sell ice cream, pastries and smoothies. I loved hanging out there.

PALACE

My all-time favourite place to get kebabs. I have been visiting palace for years. It is located around Madina-UPS, in fact very close to Casa Bellini. Their skews of kebabs are quite bigger than the usual ones, hence worth the price. They do have some sitting areas and they do play very good music. I always love being in such environments.

PAPA'S PIZZA

Talk of one of the best pizza joint in Ghana; Papa's.  I was so glad to have visited this place once again when i went to Ghana. I had an amazing time watching football and having a chat with my two amazing buddies. It felt so homely, just enjoying the matches that were being shown with everyone at the joint. Then to the pizza; it was tasty to be honest. I also opted for fresh orange juice and i loved it as well.

It appears your brief time in Ghana surpasses my entire stay in the country in terms of outings. I now know the difference between a vlogger/blogger and an ordinary citizen. 😂😂😂. I shall keep my eyes down from now on. Very revealing. God bless you.
